Vitor Belfort is far from close to Anderson Silva after being knocked-out by the latter in front of the sold-out croud in the main event of UFC 126. Silva dramtically knocked-out Belfort at 3:25 in the first round by firing a straight front kick with his left leg. With the win, Silva remains as the UFC Middleweight Champion and put himself in the UFC history as the longest reigning champion with a record of 13 consecutive fights and 8 successful title defenses.

Anderson Silva will next face UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St Pierre if the latter successfully defend his title against Jake Shields on UFC 129. If St Pierre retains his title, surely a Silva vs St Pierre match-up is the most intensifying,electrifying,heart-pounding and PPV-breaking sales in the UFC history.
