Cain Velasquez defeated Brock Lesnar late in the first round by landing multiple powerful punches that stunned the latter and be able to finish him by throwing again explosive punches to make the referee call it OVER. With this TKO win of Velasquez over Lesnar, Velasquez is the new UFC Heavyweight Champion with an undefeated MMA record of 9-0. Aside from that, he putted the Mexico in the book of UFC History as being the first Mexican Heavyweight Fighter who won the Heavyweight title.
After the fight, Brock Lesnar said that Cain velasquez is a better fighter than him at this time. For me, after seeing a very long bloody cut of lesnar on his face, Velasquez did not only won the UFC Heavyweight title but also started the new era of UFC Heavyweight with his name as the King of UFC Heavyweights.
